WHAT IS MENTAL FITNESS?

Mental Fitness (PQ)

If you’re physically fit, you can climb steep hills without physical stress.

If you’re mentally fit, you can handle life’s great challenges without mental stress or negative emotions that sabotage you. You’ll be happier and perform better.

Research Foundation

Positive Intelligence is a synthesis of neuroscience, cognitive and positive psychology, and performance science. The research is the basis of Shirzad Chamine’s New York Times bestselling book Positive Intelligence and Stanford lectures.

How you and everyone else self sabotages

A key to Mental Fitness is to weaken the internal Saboteurs who generate all your “negativity” in the way they respond to challenges. Your Saboteurs cause all your stress, anxiety, self-doubt, frustration, regret, shame, guilt, and unhappiness. Saboteurs include the Judge, Controller, Avoider, Victim, Stickler and 5 others.

Your wonderful “Sage” emotions originate from a different region of your brain to the Saboteurs. Your Sage brain engages with challenges in ways that produce more positive emotions like curiosity, empathy, creativity, calm, and clear-headed action. By learning how to notice when your Saboteurs are around and how to engage your Sage will help you be more content both at work and home.

Breakthrough Results of Boosting PQ

  • Performance: If doing more is important to you improving your positive mental fitness will help with that.

  • Happiness: You feel less stressed, more peace, and consistent happiness, even when times are tough.

  • Relationships: Noticing your saboteurs and how they impact your relationships with family, partner, children, parents, colleagues and your boss will help you improve those relationships. You'll be able to do disagreements better and to bring more trust and harmony.

PQ Training

Boosting your mental fitness requires building powerful new muscles in your brain, not just insight. Combining weekly video sessions and an exclusive App, Shirzad Chamine guides you step-by-step over a seven-week period to boost the 3 core muscles of mental fitness.

The increased grey matter in the “Sage” region of the brain is visible in MRI imaging within 7 weeks.

THE POSITIVE MENTAL FITNESS PROGRAMME

Mental Fitness (PQ)

In partnership with Positive Intelligence Inc, I offer a seven week programme which results in sustainable changes through a mental fitness programme designed to increase your focus, productivity and happiness.

Here’s how it works:

It’s proven!

This programme is based on the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience, positive psychology, cognitive psychology and performance science as outlined in Shirzad Chamine’s NY Times bestselling book, Positive Intelligence: Why Only 20% of Teams and Individuals Achieve Their True Potential and how you can achieve yours.

To succeed doesn’t take much time!

You’ll watch a weekly one-hour video presented by Shirzad Chamine; engage in a one-hour PQ Group Pod facilitated by Tim Pottle, and complete a daily 10-minute “mental workout” using an easy-to-use mobile app.

So many training courses change us for a week or maybe a month, then we slip back to the old ways. The Positive Mental Fitness Programme helps you make changes quickly and provides you with the tools to maintain your mental fitness forever.

The PQ Pod (group)

Being in a PQ Pod means you are five times more likely to succeed.  You'll join four to eight administrators and team leaders and you’ll learn, support one another, create accountability and make seismic shifts in how you react to the ups and downs of your daily life.

Led by Tim Pottle

Your PQ Pod will be led by Tim who has been an administrator, administration manager, fundraiser and charity trustee for over 25 years. He started work as a temporary admin assistant and now works part-time as Development Director at Regent's Park College in Oxford. Tim is an Associate at Salt Coaching and Consulting and Openwell.

His mission and passion is to help managers and their teams thrive both at work and home.

If you manage a team or are a member of a team, Tim has been where you are and knows the challenges you face.

Get on the course and in seven weeks, you'll move from feeling overwhelmed, undervalued, lacking time and energy, to feeling more focused, more productive and happier both at home and work.

There's no risk, all this is backed by a money back guarantee. If you put in the work and don't get the results your money will be refunded in full.

If you would like 1:1 coaching with Tim that's available too
