Midi Quest is a software application that allows you to manage, edit, and store MIDI data for various synthesizers, samplers, and other MIDI devices. Midi Quest supports over 750 different instruments from more than 50 manufacturers. Midi Quest is available in four versions: Midi Quest, Midi Quest Pro, Midi Quest Essentials, and Midi Quest one. Each version has different features and capabilities, and requires a different serial number for activation.


How to find your serial number




If you have purchased Midi Quest online or as a download, you should have received an email with your serial number and download instructions. If you have purchased Midi Quest as a physical product, you should find your serial number printed on the first page of your owner's manual. If you have purchased an upgrade, you can use your original serial number to activate the new version .

How to register your serial number




Before using Midi Quest, you need to register your serial number with Sound Quest, the developer of the software. Registration entitles you to access technical support services, download updates and new instrument modules, and receive special offers and discounts. To register your serial number, follow these steps:


  • Open [this link] with your internet browser.



  • Complete the online registration form, including your name, email address, product name, and serial number.



  • Click the Submit button at the bottom of the form to complete your registration.



You should receive a confirmation email from Sound Quest after submitting your registration. If you do not receive the email within 24 hours, please contact Sound Quest at [support@squest.com](mailto:support@squest.com).


How to activate your serial number




After registering your serial number, you need to activate it in order to use Midi Quest. Activation verifies that your serial number is valid and that you are the authorized user of the software. To activate your serial number, follow these steps:


  • Run Midi Quest on your computer.



  • Go to the Help menu and select Activate.



  • Enter your serial number in the dialog box and click OK.



  • Wait for the activation process to complete. You should see a message indicating that your serial number has been activated successfully.

How to transfer your serial number




If you want to use Midi Quest on a different computer or sell it to someone else, you need to transfer your serial number. Transferring your serial number deactivates it on your current computer and allows you to activate it on another computer. To transfer your serial number, follow these steps:


  • Run Midi Quest on your current computer.



  • Go to the Help menu and select Transfer.



  • Enter your serial number in the dialog box and click OK.



  • Wait for the transfer process to complete. You should see a message indicating that your serial number has been transferred successfully.



  • Uninstall Midi Quest from your current computer.



  • Install Midi Quest on another computer and activate it with the same serial number.
